Full Glaciers Tour Itinerary
The day begins with the pickup of passengers who have chosen the transfer option, taking them to Punta Bandera Port, located within Los Glaciares National Park, about 28 miles (45 km) from El Calafate.
Boarding and Glacier Sightings
From Punta Bandera, we’ll embark on a cruise along the North Arm of Lake Argentino. Sailing through the Diablo Boca, the boat heads toward the majestic Upsala and Spegazzini Channels, where stunning glaciers are revealed at the end of each.
- Upsala Glacier, the largest in the lake, and
- Spegazzini Glacier, the tallest, will leave you in awe.
Throughout the journey, you’ll also enjoy views of the Seco, Heim Sur, and Peineta Glaciers, surrounded by floating icebergs of various shapes and sizes.
Disembarkation at Spegazzini Refuge
Upon arrival at the Glaciers Bay, you’ll walk along a scenic trail winding through the forest with spectacular views of the Spegazzini Glacier. At the end of the walk, you’ll reach the Spegazzini Refuge, where you can enjoy a panoramic lunch or explore freely with your own packed meal.
Transfer Options
- With transfer: We will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off there at the end of the tour. If not staying at a hotel or hostel, a convenient meeting point will be assigned.
- Without transfer: Passengers must arrive at Punta Bandera Port at the specified time. The transfer option must be booked more than 7 days in advance.
